In our first inaugural health summit, The Nine is excited to shed light on the pains and potential gains of the gender health gap, our unique hormonal health, and the key developments in women's health in 2025 and beyond.

Speakers & Partners Include:
Peter Barton Head of Family Planning Partnerships at the Gates Foundation, based in London and part of the Gender Equality Division. He works to: unlock funding for contraceptive access in low- and middle-income countries (LMICs) "New Money", make existing funding go further "Better Money" and mobilise partners to prioritise women's reproductive health. He has worked across the foundation on health and gender, including setting up the €1.6bn Human Development Accelerator with the European Commission and European Investment Bank that funds health and gender investments. Prior to his roles at the Gates Foundation, he led strategy teams at Boston Consulting Group (BCG) focussing on social impact and public sector - including for Covid 19. He was a British Army officer for almost 8 years, is a feminist and proud father to a 4 year old daughter.
Dr Sarah Saxena, Professor of Anesthesiology University of Mons, Belgium-Anesthesiologist (MD; PHD)-ESAIC Subforum lead 'the geriatric patient' - Women in Global Health. Sarah is also the author of Beyond the White Coat: My Journey of Resilience, and passionate about DEI in the health sector.
Maha Ganem is an online & broadcast journalist and podcast producer specialising in global public health. She recently launched her new series 'Je pensais que j'étais la seule' looking at the gender health and research gap, and women's different lived health experiences.
Dr Bharati Shivalkar, Cardiologist, Women’s Health Advocate , Physician-Scientist-Educator. She is a purpose-driven cardiologist and industry leader with a distinctive career at the intersection of clinical practice, academia, and the healthcare industry. As a multimodality cardiovascular imaging specialist her focus has been on early detection of cardiovascular disease, aiming at prevention and improved patient outcomes as well as gender medicine. Her purpose is to address the systemic disparities in women’s health care with a vision to shape initiatives that close the gender gap and ensure that women’s health remains at the forefront of healthcare innovation.
Mariam Harytyunyan, Founder of the KinArmat Initiative, bringing together thought leaders to tackle today’s societal challenges. She hosts the monthly KinArmat Talks, where she engages in meaningful conversations with influential leaders about leadership, purpose, and impact across sectors. She also developed The Growth Circle, a leadership program for mid-career women. She is the voice behind Women’s Health Uncovered, a podcast exploring the gender health gap with experts and policymakers.
Inge Delva is a menopause coach, writer, facilitator, and keynote speaker with a mission to inform and empower women about the profound hormonal changes they experience throughout life. She leads workshops and retreats that explore the physical, emotional, and psychological impact of shifting hormones, helping women understand how fluctuations in estrogen, progesterone, and testosterone can affect their bodies and minds.
Nina Noorali began exploring the mental realm at just 12, often found meditating at 4am. With over 20 years of experience in mental wellbeing, she’s worked with prisoners, refugees, freelancers, CEOs, and teams across the globe. Her mission is to guide women toward a happier life-one that money can’t buy-by helping them master their hormonal health and emotional resilience. Nina is a seasoned burnout and stress resilience coach, perimenopause advisor, and regularly facilitates silence retreats in Belgium.
Naina Madan is the founder and Master Blender of Madn Teas. Passionate about tea from a young age, her organic, functional blends are designed to support energy, digestion, relaxation, and overall well-being, following the principles of Ayurveda.

Nilsy Desaint joined the global biopharmaceutical company MSD in early 2015 as Associate Director of Public Policy in Belgium, with a focus on oncology policy and corporate communications. Prior to joining MSD, she was Communications Manager at the European Association for Bioindustries (EuropaBio).
Based in Brussels as part of MSD’s EU Public Policy team, Nilsy leads the company’s engagement on EU vaccines policy. She also chairs the Public Affairs Working Group of Vaccines Europe, a specialised group within the European Federation of Pharmaceutical Industries and Associations (EFPIA). Beyond vaccines, she has followed various digital health policy dossiers over the years, including the European Health Data Space (EHDS) and the AI Act.
