Another Bookclub | Memoirs and Biographies
03/09/2026 - From 19h30 to 21h30 - Members & GuestsRegistration mandatory
First gathering after Summer. Perfect to share all those books you read on a beach, in a plane or in your backyard and THE moment to dive into a new theme: memoirs and biographies.
For this edition, Catherine Streib will take the lead.
Catherine learned her love of reading early from her mother, who is a school librarian. Favourite genres have been fiction and personal development, but her absolute favourite are memoirs written by women. She is drawn to honest, deeply personal stories that offer insight into women's lives, the challenges they have overcome, and the resilience they've shown along the way. She loves memoirs that are authentic, candid, and emotionally engaging, finding that they help her better understand different perspectives and life experiences. Some of her recent favourites include memoirs by Christina Applegate, Michelle Obama, Tina Knowles, and Priscilla Presley.
As always: you can just join the party or bring a beloved memoir, a recent discovery, a dog-eared favourite biography, or something wonderfully niche you think more people should know about.
ANOTHER BOOKCLUB = no set titles, no pressure, no prep. Just a small circle, a drink in hand, and generous bookish conversation. Come to share. Or simply to listen and collect new worlds to explore.
