An introduction to nervous-system based healing from stress, anxiety, and exhaustion
How to calm stress and anxiety and build resilience by enhancing self-regulation and mind-body connection.
Many of you will have tried mindfulness, yoga, meditation, positive thinking, or the latest diet (e.g. fasting, gluten-free…) and the latest exercise trend in an effort for better self-care, to gain physical fitness, manage stress and anxiety, or feel calmer and more energised.
But did you know there is another key, crucial element underpinning our health? It’s the state of our nervous system, our biology of stress, and how we work with this subconscious part of ourselves. This is the driver’s seat of our mental, emotional and physical health.
Katarina has a fascinating and fresh perspective on this and how women are shaped as society’s ‘stress absorbers’.
