ANOTHER BOOKCLUB | The Poetry Edition

05/02/2026 - From 19h30 to 21h30 - Members Only
Registration mandatory

Our December gathering turned into the most joyful book swap: favourite titles changed hands, laughter flowed freely, drinks were enjoyed, and conversations lingered long after. It was a pleasure to see so many familiar faces, and to welcome a few new book lovers into the mix.

We’re delighted to invite you to the fourth gathering of ANOTHER BOOKCLUB. Expect the same relaxed format: a small group, a glass of whatever you fancy, and plenty of room for bookish connection without pressure or performance.

This edition is devoted to POETRY. I’ll be joined by Laura Stoicescu, an avid poetry lover, to open up the conversation. Bring your favourite poems, poets, lines you return to, or books you think everyone should read at least once. And if poetry isn’t usually your thing, you’re more than welcome: come to listen, discover, and be gently drawn in. Curiosity counts just as much as expertise.

No set titles, no obligatory homework. Just good company, shared words, and the quiet joy of being together. You’ll likely leave feeling a little bit smarter.

About our organizers

Alexia Struye is an Antwerp-based multipotentialite working across the art world. Her roles are many: artist, writer, mentor, coach, project manager, and speaker. All are driven by a deep commitment to creative inquiry and forward thinking.

She moves fluidly between making, thinking, advocating and supporting others in the arts. Anything she hasn’t tackled yet, is super exciting. Like a bookclub, for example.

You can find more information about her on LinkedIn or via mail: alexiastruye@gmail.com

Laura Stoicescu is a big fan of books and the reading universe (cue to random cocooning item, including but not limited to: candles, lofi music and tea). Always on the lookout for new authors, titles and genres.
