NURTURE by Idealists Quarterly | Community Event

21/01/2026 - From 19h to 22h - Public

Idealists Quarterly brings together people from diverse sectors who are dedicated to building community and making a difference in the world. This edition is organised in partnership with the artists Kamand Razavi from Iran and Raquel Versieux from Brazil.

Together, we will reflect on what it means to NURTURE community, and everything that it entails. The event is an invitation to slow down and reflect on what it really takes to build - and continuously care for - community. We will particularly reflect on the question: what happens if some do the hard labour of nurturing alone, and without support? How can we build systems of reciprocity, accountability and genuine mutual nurturing?

This edition brings together conversation and artistic expression through the work of two artists: Kamand Razavi, an Iranian artist whose practice explores women’s lives and the physical imprint the world leaves on our bodies - from identity to motherhood, from presence to transformation. And Raquel Versieux, a Brazilian artist, researcher and poet. In her work, she particularly explores communal-based art.

The evening will unfold between dialogue and performance, with a live performance by Kamand Razavi and Raquel Versieux.

Further, Kamand Razavi's photographic installations will inhabit the space, extending the conversation beyond words and inviting guests to experience NURTURE as something both felt and embodied.

An evening to listen, witness, and reflect on how we sustain what matters... Together.
