Bella the cow is a very special cow, who experiences all sorts of crazy adventures, together with her friends Bertha and Josephine, farmer Gust and his wife Greta. Bella lives in Obergurgl, high up in the Austrian mountains… and of course she yodels.
The Bella the Cow podcast launched in 2021, with stories in Flemish, French, and English. After just one year, this all-female podcast was nominated in the family category of the Belgian Podcast Awards, thanks to its inventive storylines and creative musical excerpts.
We are delighted to welcome author and producer Kristien Kaelen who will lead us in an interactive family brunch where both parents and children will be encouraged to write and draw their own tales of Bella's adventures over The Nine's famous brunch menu. The perfect Wednesday afternoon and holiday activity for all the family!
ABOUT
Kristien Kaelen trained and worked as a Belgian lawyer, and lives with her two sons in Brussels. She has always enjoyed telling stories, first to her own children and later to her niece and nephew. They were the ones who suggested making a book of Bella stories for other children to enjoy. Musical excerpts are performed by both Kristien and pianist Adeline Leriche.
