KinArmat Initiative Talks
23/02/2024 - From 19h00 - Public
Last year saw the launch of the KinArmat Talks, a flagship project of the KinArmat Initiative, renowned for championing Intergenerational Dialogues. Impressively, each session sold out within days, highlighting the community's eagerness for profound exchanges of views and experiences that span generations. This success was further amplified by the proud partnership with The Nine.
Building on this enthusiasm, we are excited to announce the next distinguished speaker, Louise Haxthausen, Director of UNESCO Brussels.
With a rich background that includes serving as the UNESCO Representative to the European Union and leading the UNESCO Office for Brussels (Belgium), Baghdad (Iraq) and Ramallah (Palestine) and on special assignments in Kabul (Afghanistan), Ms. Haxthausen brings a wealth of experience and insights. Her perspectives, shaped by her distinguished career in human rights, post-conflict and post-disaster situations, democracy, and peace, promise to inspire and challenge us.
Join us on the 23rd of February as our guest speaker, Louise Haxthausen, goes in conversation with Mariam Harutyunyan (founder KinArmat Initiative) about her professional journey, her vision for UNESCO's role in today's world, and the importance of fostering dialogue and understanding across generations and cultures.
