Define Your Menopause Strategy

We live in a global society where the word menopause is stigmatised and taboo. It would be great if we could all talk about this important time of transition that happens to all people who are born with functioning ovaries in the same way that we talk about the common cold.

Over the past few years, an important and vital global conversation has begun and more and more people are joining in. This workshop is a continuation of this dialogue where we will explore exactly what menopause is and what happens to women’s bodies. We will talk about symptoms and how they affect our everyday lives. We will look at HRT, Bioidentical hormones and natural remedies. Every woman is unique and her journey is her own. We will explore our definition of what a fulfilling and happy life could look like on our journey through our menopause transition and start to look for ways to move towards it.

ABOUT:

Melissa Macallan is passionate about empowering women to take ownership of every aspect of their menopause transition. She is driven by helping women to feel fabulous about themselves as they step into the second spring of their lives.

Melissa currently works for one of the Big 4 firms and is a Captain in the Diversity and Inclusion Community, representing all workers over the age of 45. For the last year and a half she has been working on the roll out of a menopause support system and a menopause policy across all the firm’s offices in Belgium. In exploring the unique challenges faced by colleagues navigating this transition, she has been instrumental in creating an inclusive workplace.

Melissa is working towards becoming a menopause coach and starting her own coaching practice to help put women back in the driver seat of their lives to move towards a life of fulfilment and happiness.
