Whether you are a beginner or an experienced speaker, this workshop is designed to help you develop essential skills that will enable you to captivate and inspire your audience. Daria Ortiz, Head of the Speaker Coaching Team at TEDxBrussels, will guide you through techniques to, among other things, improve your presence, structure your speech effectively, and overcome stage fright.

 

Daria Ortiz is a seasoned communication specialist with over 10 years’ experience in broadcasting, creative content production, and social media management. Before moving to Brussels in 2016 to pursue a career in the EU bubble, she freelanced in her home country, Poland, as a radio and TV journalist, event moderator, translator, editor, teacher… and a few more.

Daria’s lifelong passion for impactful storytelling and public speaking has led her to join the Brussels Toastmasters Club, to head the speaker coaches’ team at TEDxBrussels, and to organise numerous workshops and provide individual public speaking coaching to business leaders, politicians, start-up founders, scientists, and others.

Daria strongly believes that public speaking is a skill anyone can master, and she is there to lend a helping hand along the way.
