Bio
Hi! My name is Kirande Nijenhuis and most of you know me as a digital marketeer. What few people know is that I actually studied social psychology and graduated cum laude for my Master’s in Sexology at KU Leuven. The topic of my thesis was “adolescent sexual development during the digital era”.
Our girls have so much going for them. (Don’t we love the internet?) But there are also new kinds of danger. (Don’t we hate the internet?!) We cannot keep our children away from online communication. So what can we do? I can help you with the first step: making you aware of their online world, what are common online behaviours and what still lies in your power to promote safety and well-being.
