Building Public Speaking Confidence

11/02/2025 - From 19h30 to 21h30 - Members & Guests

Public speaking anxiety and excitement can easily be confused - in both cases, adrenaline boosts blood flow, accelerates the heartbeat, and keeps the body alert. While a small dose of stage fright helps us focus, excessive nervousness can become paralysing, transforming what could be a fun experience into an unnecessarily stressful burden.

How can we train our minds to interpret adrenaline as a positive feeling - something to look forward to? How can we build trust in the eyes of our audience and become more confident on stage, ultimately enjoying the spotlight instead of fearing it?

In this workshop, we will explore various stage presence and grounding techniques to help take control of overwhelming emotions. From vocal projection to body language and mental resilience, you will learn what to focus on as you work towards becoming a more relaxed and confident presenter. Because public speaking is a skill anyone can master.
