Dancing in the Dark

14/09/2026 - From 19h to 22h - Public

What happens when someone who has spent three decades in conflict zones begins talking about peace, not as an ideal, but as a practice?

Eva Dalak's recently published memoir, Dancing in the Dark, offers a deeply personal answer. Born Palestinian in Israel, she has spent more than thirty years working across 22 conflict zones, operating at the intersection of systemic change and soul-centred healing. Her work is rooted in one conviction: lasting peace in the world begins with the peace we cultivate within ourselves.

Our conversation begins with Dancing in the Dark, exploring the experiences that shaped Eva's path and the questions that continue to guide her work today: resilience, identity, belonging, and what it means to remain deeply human in times of conflict. Through stories from both her own life and the frontlines of peacebuilding, she'll invite us to reflect on hope, courage and the possibility of peace—from the inside out.

From there, we'll gather for a sacred cacao ceremony, featuring ceremonial-grade raw cacao sourced directly from the Bribri, the Indigenous people of Talamanca, Costa Rica. For the Bribri, cacao is far more than a drink; it is honoured as a medicine of the heart. Eva and Fabrice share this tradition with deep gratitude, humility and respect for its origins.

The evening continues with an ecstatic dance journey, guided by Fabrice's unique somatic approach to music and movement. Rather than learning choreography, this is an invitation to quiet the mind, reconnect with the body and allow movement to express what words sometimes cannot.

No dance experience is needed. There are no steps to learn and nothing to perform.

Simply come as you are, allow yourself to be moved by the music, and share the experience in a welcoming community

Eva and Fabrice rarely offer public events in Europe. This intimate gathering is a unique opportunity to experience their work in a small, heartfelt setting.

About Eva Dalak,

Eva Dalak is a peace activator who operates at the intersection of systemic change and soul-centered healing with a career spanning 30 years and 22 conflict zones.

As a Palestinian born in Israel, her life’s work is a testament to the power of integration. In 2023, amidst the escalating crisis, she launched Peace Activation to scale her belief that external stability begins with internal sovereignty. Her work dismantles systemic violence by activating the peace within.

With Master’s degrees in international law, political science, and spiritual psychology, Eva weaves her academic background and experience in the field with the United Nations, European Union, and World Bank. She is a catalyst for radical peace in an era of fragmentation.

Eva hosts the Peace Activation Podcast and authors The Other Narrative Substack, sharing stories of resilience and hope from the frontlines of conflict. She recently published a memoir, Dancing in the Dark, and previously hosted this podcast with Elana Sztokman, Women Ending War.
