Many of us carry different roles in our life: our job title, friend, sister, wife... And for some, that doesn't include the role of mother.

However, while our partners may agree, many in society either don’t always understand or accept this choice. Parents may struggle with the idea of not having grandchildren. Our employer may 'joke' about when it will be our turn to have kids. Even our friends may comment on this decision.

While more and more women openly speak up about being childfree and happy, societal pressure is still present.

So how can we handle it?

FACILITATOR:

Andreja Mrzel is a director with over 15 years of global experience in customer success, finance, risk management and fintech. Her most senior roles were CFO in UPS for Austria and Slovenia division, District controller for West District at UPS and Director of Customer Success at BlackLine. She is currently based in The Netherlands.

Andreja is married, without children, and loves spoiling her niece and nephew. She enjoys relaxed weekends with a book, playing games, exploring Europe with her friends, traveling to Slovenia to visit her friends and family, and to Brussels for the events at The Nine.
