Different Books, Same Page…

What if Goodreads reviews, your independent bookshop’s handwritten ‘favourite’

flashcards, and a chat with a friendly librarian all came together in the best

Clubhouse?

We’re bringing a new bookclub to The Nine: a casual format with a small group of

members, a glass of whatever you fancy, and a chance to swap favourites, must-

reads, or those questionable titles.

Wait — we’re not all reading the same book? Nope. No set reading. Just bring a

book to share — or don’t (you can just come and listen). For this first edition, we

won’t even stick to a theme. Anything goes.

Still wondering what the benefits of the bookclub are?

– Feed your curiosity and your brain

There’s always something new to discover when people talk about what they’re

reading.

– Meet new people

Low pressure, easy conversations, and a shared love (or healthy debate) over

books — the ideal conditions for connecting.

– Unwind without judgment

No quizzes, no grades, no wrong opinions. Come as you are.

– Expand Your Shelf

Leave with a few new recommendations — and maybe a new favourite genre.

Whether you’re an avid reader or just in it for the chat, we’d love to see you there.

Alexia Struye is an Antwerp-based multipotentialite working across the art world.

Her roles are many — artist, writer, mentor, coach, project manager, and speaker

— all are driven by a deep commitment to creative inquiry and forward thinking.

She moves fluidly between making, thinking, advocating and supporting others in

the arts. Anything she hasn’t tackled yet, is super exciting. In this case: as an avid

book lover, a bookclub it is!
