As COP30 approaches amid ongoing geopolitical and trade tensions, it is more crucial than ever to cut through the noise and communicate effectively with people about the energy transition and climate crisis.

This workshop will explore the current challenges of climate communication, techniques for breaking through, and strategies for shaping a hopeful narrative. Participants will learn practical tools for storytelling, share experiences, and discuss effective approaches to engage diverse audiences.

About our speaker, 

Kira Taylor is an energy, climate, and environment journalist and moderator based in Brussels. She covers EU and international politics, green policies, and the intersection of these with security, trade, and finance. As a freelancer working across text, audio, and video, she specialises in making the energy transition and climate crisis clear and engaging for diverse audiences.
