Women In Politics | A Conversation with Delphine Houba
05/11/2025 - From 19h30 to 21h30 - Members & GuestsRegistration mandatory
Born and raised in Brussels, Delphine Houba has dedicated her life to social justice and public service. From working at 16 to fund her studies at ULB, to her missions in Senegal and Burundi, Delphine’s journey has been shaped by a deep sense of global solidarity and a drive to make change happen at home.
After years spent working on European and international issues, she became a ministerial advisor on development cooperation, budgeting, and public service. In 2018, she was elected Alderwoman for Culture, Tourism, and Major Events, and since late 2024, she has taken on the role of Alderwoman for Housing, Equal Opportunities, Tourism, and Major Events.
Beyond politics, she is a music lover, feminist, and young mother who draws inspiration from feminist literature to fuel her daily battles in public life.
This interactive conversation will be an opportunity to hear Delphine reflect on her political journey, discuss her book on the four-day work week, and engage directly with her through an open Q&A.
Come with your questions, curiosity, and ideas, this event is designed as an open and engaging dialogue.
